Here's a note from the wonderful hosts of this show:
In our ongoing efforts to celebrate Wisconsin summer evenings and support and enjoy local musicians we are having (at least) two house concerts in our yard this summer. For those who have been here before you know "our yard" is actually several backyards of unclear property lines that we share with our fine neighbors Deb and Brian. There is a playground on the other side of our fence so it is very kid friendly during daylight hours. Your kids can play and you can still be close to the music. The "rules" of a house concert (for newbies...) are that you try to RSVP if planning to come (use Jenny’s personal email jennysanner@yahoo.com) but you can come anyway if you forget to RSVP (a common occurrence). There is a donation suggested of $15 per person and all goes to the musicians. They have CDs to sell also. People often bring food and drink to share. We eat before and/or in between music. We do this outside in our yards if weather nice or inside if not. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. Space limited inside so definitely RSVP or call ahead if it is raining.
